At the end of this lesson, students should be able to simplify fractions to their lowest term.

NOTE:

To simplify means to make simple or to reduce. Simplifying a fraction means making it as simple as possible or reducing it to its smallest term or size by dividing with a common factor.

When simplifying fractions, you need to find the highest possible number that can evenly divide both numerator and denominator without a remainder. (H.C.F of both numbers).
