Lesson 2 – Subtraction of Multiples of 10 (Ten)

Objective:

At the end of this lesson, students should be able to subtract multiples of 10.

With this subtraction, we start with the numbers on the right which are zeros. So we have 0 take away 0 which gives us zero (0). We then move on to the numbers on the left. 5 take away 2 gives us 3 which is the same as 3 tens (30)
